To the Citizens of District One:

TRAFFIC SAFETY CONCERNS FOOD LION, McDONALD'S, SHORE BANK (ZENITH), CAPE CHARLES STOPLIGHT AREA

The Commonwealth Transportation Board will conduct a public meeting at The Regional Building, located at 723 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, Virginia at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017.

Below is the Ranking of this project within the HAMPTON ROADS DISTRICT. This Ranking in NO WAY IMPLIES the Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) will fund this project. There is a NEED FOR THE CITIZENS TO DEMONSTRATE to the CTB and the Hampton Roads District Administrator the importance of resolution to this TRAFFIC SAFETY issue.

Generally speaking there is minimal attendance by the public at these hearings. Your attendance at this meeting will reemphasize the importance of this traffic safety improvement. If you are not able to attend, it will assist me in representing your concerns if you will send me an e-mail at the following address:

ghogg@co.northampton.va.us and CC: Six-YearProgram@vdot.virginia.gov

Subject: "STONE ROAD, Cape Charles Stoplight, Food Lion, McDonalds, Shore Bank (Zenith Bank)"

If you have had any bad experiences in this area, please describe the experience. I will present YOUR CONCERNS at the meeting. For me, it has been over 8 years getting some type of resolution to this TRAFFIC SAFETY ISSUE. Send to all that believe it is time to "FIX IT!!"

Granville Hogg
Supervisor District One
